Welcome to our new and still under development - OpenEdit DAM website! This site will always be evolving - it's obviously bare bones right now but we're adding content daily, so expect to see significant changes often. If you have any suggestions on what we can do to make this website a more useful tool for OpenEdit DAM and CMS users - let me know!
As I enter the foray of blogging, I'll post about our ongoing efforts to build this website, however this is secondary to our real goals, which are to promote and build a community around our open source digital asset management software, OpenEdit DAM. I will introduce you to best practices of digital asset management and content management by sharing not only our 10 plus years of experience in this industry but by inviting others to share their knowledge and opinions of the DAM/CMS industry as well.
On this website, you will be able to download OpenEdit's digital asset management software for easy installation. It will be integrated with OpenEdit's content management solution, as well as our E-commerce solution (consistently ranked number one on www.cmsmatrix.org!). We have many other modules available as well, such as Social Networking, Blog, Project Management, Events, Flex, etc., you can download those whenever you like but to begin with, we plan to focus on the three I mentioned.
You will also have access to documentation - we are limiting this to User and Admin documentation, a free user and admin support forum - where the OpenEdit community can help one another, DAM demo, video's, and more.
Our OpenEdit programmers and OpenEdit community have developed one of the best digital asset management and content management software solutions available, open source or commercial. It's already being used successfully by many Fortune 500 businesses and universities worldwide, I hope you will take a look at OpenEdit DAM and learn how it can benefit your operation.
I look forward to any comments and suggestions on how we can make OpenEdit DAM a better open source software and what we can do to make this website a useful tool for you!
