Hello All,

I have installed OpenEdit on my Resin Web Application Server ... After starting my Web Server and visiting the http://localhost:8080/ , I am beign prompted to download any new layout.... After I have downloaded any layout and placed the layout in the respective layouts folder, I am unable to get the Login Page to login....

Please let me know how can we proceed to get the Login Page to login....

Any inputs by anyone would be helpful....

I have tried to change the currency symbol for my products through <price quantity="1" region="PKR"> in the product's xconf file. When I make region=EUR it display appropriate EURO sign however when I make region to PKR it displays a USD ($) sign. What might be causing this? Also is there an option to specify the required symbol of the currency i.e. something <price quantity="1" region="PKR" symbol="Rs">

I need my OpenEdit installation to support video format conversion. I have no experience in OpenEdit yet. I was thinking whether it is possible to add a link on the product details page which launches a pop-up. This popup will be a simple frontend to mencoder in the backend, and allow the user to convert the video asset into a different format (like AVI to FLV etc.). 

How should I go about it? Is there some documentation to help developers extend functionality in the above way?

Ever since $product does not render while $catalogid returns correct value.

Suppose I have arround 10000 Hrs of  video (Standard Definition) SD Content available on Beta Tapes. I want to do the following

• Digitize it in a low and high resolution format simultaneously.
• Tag all of it .May be Micro-Tag it.
• Catalogue it.
• Make it online.
• Say if it requires arround 500 TB of Storage. How to I do it.
• Do I needs to build a data centre to keep that data online at all the time.
• If yes, who will integrate it for me. The hardware and the Software i.e. the complete solution.\
