remove assets subfolder

We have a folder that has an ampersand (&) in it.   Attempted to add it as a subfolder via "Edit Assets",  however it choked on the "&".

I'm unable to interact with the folder now,  it has a space added to the end of it.   What I'd like to know is how I'd delete this folder from the list.   I see no option to do so.

How many places are references made to it in openedit's files?  Is it possible to manually delete something via FTP or command line?

Okay,  got it.

Each sub-folder is also listed in the "Products" area.   Search for your sub-folder's name in the "Edit Products" section, select it and use the delete function.

When you create a folder with the Assets Editor, you can use the File Manager to see it under:

  • /<catalog>/data/assets
  • /<catalog/products
  • You might also get a new category for it in /<catalog>/categories/categories.xml

You can delete the conflicting folders there and edit the categories file to remove the created category if it was created at all.
